The 11th Đà Lạt Flower Festival, 2026: dates, where to stay, getting there
Opening is planned for the evening of 19 December 2026 at Lâm Viên Square, closing on the evening of 31 December. Xuân Hương Lake, walking or driving, booking.

The 11th Đà Lạt Flower Festival is planned to open on the evening of Saturday 19 December 2026 at Lâm Viên Square and to close on the evening of Thursday 31 December 2026, with the closing night folded into the countdown to 2027. Flower displays are planned around Xuân Hương Lake, Trần Quốc Toản Park and Yersin Park. If you want to be there for the opening or the closing, book around that exact night: at our house, nights from 20 December are peak season, and the nights of 24 and 31 December come with their own minimum-stay and deposit rules.
Updated 6 October 2026. The festival details below come from three Vietnamese newspaper articles we read on 4 October 2026 (listed at the end). The organisers may change the programme closer to the date; we will update this page when the sources change.
This piece is written by Ngân, who answers the booking phone, Zalo and email at Nhà Sương, in Vietnamese and English. One thing to say up front: Nhà Sương is a homestay that sells rooms, so the rates and policies here are ours and this page leans our way. The festival dates are from the press, with links.

On the opening time: two sources give two different hours, so we do not print one. When the organisers publish the final programme, Ngân will message the start time to guests booked for those nights. For the detailed schedule of each event, check the organisers’ own announcements nearer the date; articles from June and September are not the last word.
Nobody can promise which flowers will be in bloom on the hills on a given day. That depends on the weather that year. Our month-by-month guide has the flower calendar if you want to line a trip up with a season in the wild.
Where to stay: three questions to ask any host
Guests calling about December ask us the same three things: how far is it to the square, can I get in if I come back late, and will the room be warm. Ask any place you are considering the same.
On foot or by car
Nhà Sương is in Alley 77, Hoàng Hoa Thám street, Xuân Hương ward (the old Ward 10), Đà Lạt. We have not yet measured the walk from our gate to Lâm Viên Square or to Xuân Hương Lake on a map, so we do not give minutes or kilometres here. Once measured, the numbers will go on our location page. Until then, ask Ngân when you book.
What we can say for certain: cars up to seven seats come through the alley to the gate; from the gate to the lounge it is 46 stone steps; Vinh carries your bags. On a big event night, leave extra time, and if you take a taxi or a ride-hailing car, agree on a clear pick-up point.
Coming back late
Reception is open 07:00 to 22:00 and quiet hours run from 22:00 to 07:00. The opening night and the New Year’s Eve programme may run past 22:00. If you plan to come back late, tell Ngân at check-in so the house can explain how you get through the gate. Please do not wait until 23:00 to message.
Which room for a December night
Three rooms have wood stoves: Lò Sưởi (Fireside), 26 m² with a king bed (1.8 x 2.0 m); Phòng Sương (Mist Suite), 36 m² on the top-floor corner; and Nhà Vườn (Garden House), a separate two-bedroom house. The stoves sit behind glass and Vinh lights them from 18:00 to 22:00, one basket of wood a night, included in the rate. A stove warms the room, not the whole house. Rooms without one have the shared stove in the lounge, open until 22:00.
Rates during the festival
Our season is set by the date of each night you sleep. The opening night, 19 December, is still regular season (a Saturday night). From the night of 20 December it is peak. The nights of 24 December, 31 December and 1 January 2027 are holiday nights.
| Night | Rate band | Thông Nhỏ (Little Pine) | Lò Sưởi (Fireside) | Minimum stay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 19 Dec (Sat) | Regular, weekend | 1,060,000 VND | 1,940,000 VND | 2 nights (Saturday rule) |
| 20 to 23 Dec | Peak, midweek | 1,100,000 VND | 2,020,000 VND | none |
| 24 Dec (Thu) | Holiday | 1,280,000 VND | 2,320,000 VND | 2 nights |
| 25 Dec (Fri), 26 Dec (Sat) | Peak, weekend | 1,380,000 VND | 2,520,000 VND | 2 nights if a Saturday is included |
| 27 to 29 Dec | Peak, midweek | 1,100,000 VND | 2,020,000 VND | none |
| 30 Dec (Wed) | Peak | 1,100,000 VND | 2,020,000 VND | 3 nights |
| 31 Dec (Thu), 1 Jan 2027 (Fri) | Holiday | 1,280,000 VND | 2,320,000 VND | 3 nights |
Per room per night, including VAT, service charge and breakfast for two. All eight rooms are on the rates page. The nights of 30 December to 1 January count as the Western New Year (Tết Dương lịch), so any stay that touches one of them needs at least 3 nights. When a stay mixes rules, the strictest night sets the minimum.
Deposit and cancellation, before you transfer money
If your stay includes at least one peak or holiday night, the deposit is 50% of the total, paid by bank transfer within 24 hours of Ngân confirming. Full terms are on the booking policy page. For festival dates, in short:
- Peak nights only (no 24 December, 31 December or 1 January): cancel 10 days or more ahead for a full deposit refund; 5 to 9 days ahead, 50% of the room total is kept; under 5 days or no show, 100%. The balance is paid on arrival.
- Any of the nights of 24 December, 31 December or 1 January: the deposit is not refunded once the booking is confirmed. Ask 30 days or more ahead and you can move the dates once, free, if a room is free. The balance is due 14 days before check-in.
Two worked examples
Opening night in the Fireside room, check in Saturday 19 December, check out Monday 21 December 2026: 1,940,000 VND (19th, regular) + 2,020,000 VND (20th, peak) = 3,960,000 VND. A peak night is included, so the deposit is 50%, 1,980,000 VND, and the other 1,980,000 VND is paid on arrival. Peak cancellation terms apply.
Closing night in the Fireside room, check in Wednesday 30 December 2026, check out Saturday 2 January 2027, three nights: 2,020,000 + 2,320,000 + 2,320,000 = 6,660,000 VND. Deposit 50%, 3,330,000 VND; the remaining 3,330,000 VND is due by 16 December 2026. To move the dates, ask by 30 November 2026. The same three nights in Thông Nhỏ (Little Pine) come to 3,660,000 VND, deposit 1,830,000 VND.
How far ahead to book
We take requests up to 365 days ahead, so the 2026 festival nights have been open for a long time. We have no reliable figures on how fast Đà Lạt fills up for the festival, so we will not push you with a number. A simpler way to decide:
- Pick the night you actually want to be in town for: the opening (19 December), the closing (31 December), or a few days in between to see the displays at the lake and the two parks.
- If you pick 24 or 31 December, remember the deposit is not refundable. Transfer it only once your leave is approved.
- If your dates are not fixed, 20 to 23 and 27 to 29 December are peak nights but still refundable if you cancel 10 days ahead.
- Send a request on the booking page. The room is held while you wait; Ngân calls or messages you on Zalo the same day (07:00 to 22:00) with the total and the deposit deadline.
